I am an Associate Professor at the Centre d’Économie de la Sorbonne, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. I hold a PhD from Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy). I previously worked for several years at CESPRI, a leading research center on the economics of innovation at the Department of Economics of Bocconi University (Milan, Italy).

My research interests are quite broad, reflecting either eclecticism or, perhaps more realistically, a lack of focus. The common thread is innovation, which I have studied from several perspectives: networks, geography, science policy, competition policy, and, more recently, economic development—particularly related to (de)industrialization.

This website provides a brief overview of my research and teaching activities. If you would like to know more, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
